It is Time to Read About Me From Me

Former Pinal County Sheriff, Roger Vanderpool, was quoted in the Arizona Daily Star by Tim Stellar, “But let’s face it, he’s damaged goods. That makes him beatable,” when referring to re-elect hopeful, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. I am concerned the race will be troubled by the broken items brought about by the sheriff, instead of a concentration on the distinction among the candidates for office.

Truth, justice, etc.

Paul Babeu is going to run for a second term as sheriff.

Yep, he’s fallen from grace in the Congressional race and now has his sights lowered to reelection. Expect the announcement soon. Perhaps this week.

Overall, Sheriff Babeu raised $144,000 for his Congressional campaign during the first quarter of 2012. That topped his two Republican opponents and gave Babeu bragging rights in Congressional District 4.

That’s the good news for Babeu.

Now that we have suffered the circus of the Republican Presidential Primary provided for us, we must endure the next round, which will be provided by the Republican and Democratic primary's for Sheriff in Pinal County.  Those that are running in this primary range from knowing nothing about law enforcement to some with a little experience.
